Yeah we should go when the racing is on, i heard its so fun! also i beleive there is like only one road in the IOM xDDD nah tbf id go there for the meet up ^^ if im allowed to come to it ;x
This is an old post, BUT that said, the offer still stands, any of you are more than welcome to come over for a day or two, we are used to have visitors. The thing with living over here is that friends and relatives that you normally see once a week or more cant pop over that often so they come about 3 or 4 times a year and stay about a week, factor in both mine and the missus family and friends we usually have some one staying over every other month. Sometimes up to about 10 in one go!!
So some of you lot coming over for a day or two wouldn't be any trouble, we have a spare bedroom and 2 inflatable double beds, 2 couches and lots of floor space for sleeping bags (of which we have 2!).
We have a pub more or less next door and 2 clubs within 10 mins walking distance, the beach is 10 seconds walk from my front door (but the water is coooold!) Barbecues aren't strictly allowed on the beach but that has never stopped us before.
Travel to the island is easy enough, we have a airport which isnt that far away (taxis to our place from the airport would be about a tenner or if you arrive on a weekend or after 6pm we can pick you up) and if you arrive by boat we live a 10-15 min walk along the beach from the harbor.
All we need is about a weeks notice.
