After serious problems with my PC including a dead harddrive and numerous lockups I have started to build my next rig.
New motherboard, CPU, RAM and HD all installed, new modem/router too due to a switchover from WIN7 32 bit to 64 bit.
Waiting for new heatsink/fan to get the temp down on the CPU as it runs a little too hot for my liking with the stock unit.
i7 2600k @ 3.4GHz Sandybridge.
8Gb DD3 RAM @ 1600 MHz (didn't see the point of going faster for a lot more money)
1Tb SATA 3 Harddrive (may bite the bullet and go for SSD {solid state drive} eventually).
USB 3 on the motherboard.
