So far it seems the game will actually update itself to the 'US' flavour automatically, which is nice. Although from the amount of work its doing I'd guess it has to download the whoooole game again?! But at least I can just let it run.. aaand run....

The website is alive now but it seems to be under some strain so it's failed each time for me so far. It looks like you just log in with your Codies/LOTRO username etc and then have to create a Turbine account to link the two together. Then you can check back using the new Turbine account to see if your characters and eveything have been transferred over yet.

I know the kin is quiet these days but I wondered who else might be doing this? Would be good to know.

Got through the first bit of it I think, although it was a bit flaky. Just seen an update on the launcher, ya know where it says stuff like "server will be back soon" etc. Talking about double points on the LOTRO store, they've written "Now through Sunday, June 5th". *shudders* American just looks wrong.

 I've managed to sign up (initially kept getting error messages) with Turbine, and earlier this afternoon after I rolled a toon on an American server I was able to confirm all my Turbine Points had successfully transferred. I'm correctly down as a Lifer in my account details, so so far all is going well. I'm still at work at present, so won't be able to log onto Evernight for an hour or so - but I see that the EU servers are now on-line.

It would be great if we could rekindle interest in the jesters - very few people seem to have been playing recently...

I'm in too, seems to be all up n running smoothly :) seem to have zero LOTRO store points but I'm not fussed about that. Otherwise all transferred as if nothing happened.

Will try to garner some interest from old jesters now it's up n running. Think peeps have had computer problems that have meant they can't play for a while n stuff.

Everything went fine for me, turbine points took a couple of days to get transferred and still waiting on my monthly bonus, but otherwise ok (apart from 3 client crashes so far ):

After receiving a bunch of e-mails regarding the change to Turbine, I decided to jump back in. I'm enjoying the new setup, and I think it's fair to say I'll hang around for a while
